On the evening of June 12, in order to promote the employment of the school and make suggestions for the employment of the 2020 graduates, the School of Sciences held a seminar for the 2020 graduate design instructors. The teachers of the graduation design in 2020 session, Li Yuan, the deputy dean of the school, Mrs. Wang Jun, deputy secretary of the party committee, and Hong Yingying, the counselor of the 2020 graduation class, attended the meeting.
Dr LI Yuan affirmed the hard work of the teachers on the graduation design of the students. He said, “Graduation design is the last link of the students’ curriculum learning and the main way to check the learning results of the students’ courses. The teachers who have worked on the graduation design are very experienced, and I hope that the teachers will continue to support the graduation design work in the future, and contribute to the growth of students of School of Sciences.”.
Hong Yingying, the counselor of the 2020 graduation class, introduced the employment situation of graduates, and also hoped that teachers can mobilize the forces around them to provide more employment information and positions.
Pan Jianjiang, a graduate design instructor of 2020 and associate dean of the Graduate School, said：“this year’s epidemic has a greater impact on employment. As a graduate design instructor, we should pay more attention to the employment of students while paying attention to their studies. Let’s work together to promote employment.”. Teachers Qin Sen, He Hongjin, and Xie Suying also said that they have provided employment and postgraduate guidance to students when guiding their papers. They are very concerned about the development of students and also put forward good suggestions on the employment work of the college.
Wang Jun, deputy secretary of the party committee, concluded that the work of students in the School of Sciences cann’t be separated from the support of professional teachers. The Spark Program and the work of the class teacher have laid a solid foundation for the growth and development of our students. She hoped that teachers would continue to care about and guide students, provide advice and support for the employment work of the school.
