Speaker: Dr. Jiqing Fu

Abstract: a brief introduction to the existing magnetic metrology system in China and the application of the high precision atomic magnetometer in metrology.

Brief introduction of the speaker:

Jiqing Fu, associate researcher and registered metrologist, now works in China Academy of metrology. During his doctorate, he developed rubidium serf atomic magnetometer without magnetic shielding and potassium serf atomic magnetometer with magnetic shielding, which broke through the single channel sensitivity record of domestic atomic magnetometers at that time. During his postdoctoral period, he devoted himself to the research direction of high accuracy metrology magnetometer, and developed the first laser pumped cesium helium atomic magnetometer in China, which increased the signal strength of this magnetometer by 6 times, laying a technical foundation for the development of a new generation of magnetic benchmark. At present, the research direction is cesium helium atomic magnetometer and magnetometry.
